Full dentures vs. partials
A full denture replaces every tooth in an upper or lower arch. A partial denture replaces some missing teeth while your remaining natural teeth stay in place, usually held in with a metal or acrylic framework.

How a denture is made
Dr. McCartney takes impressions and measurements of your mouth and bite, and the denture is custom-made to match. Once it's back, he checks the fit, the bite, and the appearance, and makes adjustments as needed.
Getting used to a new denture
A new denture takes some adjustment, in how it feels and how you speak and eat with it. That's normal. If something feels off after the adjustment period, tell us. Small tweaks to the fit are a routine part of the process.
