Your First Visit
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first appointment is a full new-patient exam: full-series X-rays (unless recent ones are on file), complete periodontal charting, an oral cancer screening, intraoral photos, and a cavity check. Afterward, Dr. McCartney walks you through what he found in plain language. Whether it's been one year or many since your last visit, there's no judgment.
Bring: your insurance card, a photo ID, a list of medications, and your relevant medical history. You can download and complete the New Patient Forms ahead of time.

Insurance and Cost
We accept most insurance plans, including Aetna, MetLife, Delta Dental, Ameritas, Humana, Guardian, Cigna, and Mutual of Omaha. If your plan changed when you moved, call us and we'll check it.
No insurance? We offer discounts for patients paying out of pocket and accept CareCredit (subject to credit approval). See our payment options for details.
