A full new-patient exam
Your first appointment with Dr. McCartney is a full new-patient exam: full-series X-rays, complete periodontal charting, an oral cancer screening, intraoral photos, and a check for cavities. It takes longer than a routine cleaning because it's supposed to.
Before You Arrive
What to bring
- • Insurance card
- • Photo ID
- • A list of any medications you take
- • Relevant medical history
If you have recent X-rays from another dentist, bring those too. If you're switching from a long-time practice, we're happy to reach out to them for records so nothing gets duplicated.
